the office is a CME Provider in compliance with Italian regulations.
Since 2011 the Italian Ministry of Health has entrusted the planning and design of CME events to national providers who are authorized to issue CME credits to health professionals.
the office was appointed national provider no. 1386 on 24 February 2011 and subsequently certified by AGENAS, the Italian Agency for Regional Health Services, as the first standard provider in the Region Friuli Venezia Giulia.
In order to design training events in compliance with the objectives set by the Italian Ministry of Health the office is supported by a Scientific Committee made up of 5 members: Prof. Marina Bortul, General Surgery of the University of Trieste; dr. Alberto Giammarini Barsanti, General Practitioner and member of the national board of the Italian Society of GPs; dr. Fabrizio Monti, Director of the Neurophisiology Clinic of Trieste Cattinara Hospital; prof. Luigi Murena, Director of the Orthopaedic and Traumatology Clinic at University of Trieste and prof. Carlo Trombetta, Director of the Urological Clinic and of the Specialization School of the University of Trieste.
the office works with scientific associations, with the Italian Health service and with pharmaceutical companies in analysing the growing training needs of health professionals with the aim of supplying high profile courses deriving from over 30 years of experience.
