{"id":14410,"date":"2019-10-20T16:47:36","date_gmt":"2019-10-20T14:47:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.theoffice.it\/news-en\/meet-in-italy-for-life-sciences-2019-2\/"},"modified":"2019-10-25T17:20:45","modified_gmt":"2019-10-25T15:20:45","slug":"meet-in-italy-for-life-sciences-2019-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.theoffice.it\/en\/news-en\/meet-in-italy-for-life-sciences-2019-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Meet in Italy for Life Sciences 2019"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The IV edition of Meet in Italy for Life Sciences <strong>&#8211; the leading national matchmaking and update event on Life Sciences<\/strong> &#8211; was held this year in <strong>Trieste<\/strong>, at Molo IV, from 16th to 18th.<\/p>\n<p>More than 400 accredited institutions and companies from 31 countries created <strong>over 1,800 matchmaking<\/strong> opportunities, organized in collaboration with Enterprise Europe Network. The event was able to attract 40 exhibitors who presented their most up to date projects.<\/p>\n<p>After the welcome addresses by the President of the FVG Region and the Mayor of Trieste, the inaugural event was the international conference <strong>&#8220;From genomics to epigenomics: the future of medicine&#8221;<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>After an introduction by the Scientific Director of the <strong>Berlin Institute for Medical Systems Biology<\/strong>, Nikolaus Rajewsky and the two round tables devoted to research and economic activities respectively, the President of the National Technology Cluster of Life Sciences ALISEI, Diana Bracco announced Genoa as the venue of Meet in Italy 2020.<\/p>\n<p>As usual, Meet in Italy for Life Sciences also hosted the Italian Healthcare Venture Forum devoted to start-ups, in collaboration with Tech, and aimed at innovative companies. 68 applications were received, including 20 start-up finalists from 6 European countries who presented their entrepreneurial project to a European jury of investors specialized in life sciences.<\/p>\n<p>the office was involved in the organisation of the event: our staff managed the set up of the location, coordinated suppliers and supervised logistics while our hostesses were in charge of welcoming speakers, exhibitors, and participants.<\/p>\nngg_shortcode_0_placeholder\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The IV edition of Meet in Italy for Life Sciences &#8211;
