The IV edition of Meet in Italy for Life Sciences \u2013 the leading national matchmaking and update event on Life Sciences<\/strong> \u2013 was held this year in Trieste<\/strong>, at Molo IV, from 16th to 18th.<\/p>\n

More than 400 accredited institutions and companies from 31 countries created over 1,800 matchmaking<\/strong> opportunities, organized in collaboration with Enterprise Europe Network. The event was able to attract 40 exhibitors who presented their most up to date projects.<\/p>\n

The inaugural event was the international conference \u201cFrom genomics to epigenomics: the future of medicine\u201d <\/strong>followed by an introduction by the Scientific Director of the Berlin Institute for Medical Systems Biology<\/strong>, Nikolaus Rajewsky and two round tables devoted to research and economic activities respectively. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n

During the inaugural session, the President of the National Technology Cluster of Life Sciences ALISEI, Diana Bracco announced Genoa as the venue of Meet in Italy 2020.<\/p>\n

As usual, Meet in Italy for Life Sciences also hosted the Italian Healthcare Venture Forum devoted to start-ups, in collaboration with Tech, and aimed at innovative companies. 68 applications were received, including 20 start-up finalists from 6 European countries who presented their entrepreneurial project to a European jury of investors specialized in life sciences.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
