THE EVENT
From 3 to 6 April 2019 the Burlo Garofolo Hospital celebrated 50 years of research with the aim of raising public awareness on its scientific achievements and on research as a whole.
The Info point, located in Piazza della Borsa, served as a hub for the many events organized, starting from a scientific conference on innovative therapies, which took place on Friday 5 April in the Auditorium at the Revoltella Museum.
On Saturday 6 April 2019, the last day of the celebrations, Piazza Borsa held two events opened to the public and co-organized with the Municipality of Trieste and the support of Astro: a non-competitive 1 kilometer walk together with the young athletes of Triestina Calcio and the special cake in Piazza Unità for all children present, called “the giant strucolo for Burlo” and prepared for the occasion by Viezzoli Patisserie!
WHAT WE DID
The Office collaborated in the organization and planning of the events, coordinated participants attending scientific and recreational events and ensured a fruitful cooperation among all the private and public stakeholders as well as suppliers.
Alongside Burlo’s secretariat and press office, we also promoted individual meetings on our social media channels and coordinated creativity and production of all printed materials and gadgets.
