Symposia

Symposia are organized by a chair person (convenor) and possibly a co-convenor. One of the convenors should:

a. approach symposium participants

b. collect the individual abstracts

c. send the title and abstract of the symposium (max. 200 words), aims and scope of the symposium to the local organizers

d. send the abstracts of individual contributions (max. 150 words) to the organizers

e. provide names and addresses of symposium participants

All required information (c, d, e) should be uploaded on the conference web-page Abstract Submission  before February 1st, 2012.

Symposia will last 120 minutes, with 5-6 contributors, including an optional discussant. Each presentation can last no longer than 15-20 minutes, depending on the number of papers (15 minutes for presentation and 5 minutes for discussion).

A convenor may act as discussant or the chairperson for the session, and present one of the papers. At the end of the symposium, time will be allowed for general discussion.

Convenors must be from two different countries. Participants should represent at least two different countries.
